I’m not easily confused. At least, I don’t think I am. In general I know what’s going on, and when I don’t I at least have a rough idea. This week, though, has been so strange I don’t even know where to begin. I guess it started on Monday, or was it Wednesday? I honestly can’t remember.

I’m sure this has happened to you. For whatever reason, I thought Monday was Wednesday, and then Wednesday felt like Thursday, and the entire week it never felt like the right day. April’s over. Cool. April wasn’t as kind to me as March. Honestly, I think a big reason was simply the weather: it snowed in April, and then it rained and got very cold and never really warmed up. That doesn’t make for a good month, and it more or less mimicked my mental state. I never really got going.
More accurately, about halfway through I took a break from most of my things. I did less chess, less poi, less of everything. Now that the month is ending, though, I feel recharged and ready to take on the world in May. I’m getting ahead of myself, though. First let’s look at what happened the last 30 days.
October draws to a close, and as October is not September, it was automatically a better month.
I spent virtually the entire 31 days resting. I did much less than usual in most of things. In some ways I welcomed the break, though I think I need to start ramping things back up into high gear. Too much time off is just as bad as not enough. Anyway, here were my goals at the end of September, let’s see how I did:
